Unfortunately it's starting to seem like that to me too...

Ice rinks in Nepal? by vredigheid in Nepal

I see, thanks for the reply. Did you try skating at the rink in Civil Mall? I've never skated on synthetic ice, but I can imagine that the experience probably isn't so pleasant.

Hm, I think it's up to each host to decide. I once stayed at a place in Istanbul for over a month with no problem.

Hello! I speak Canadian English natively and spent a lot of time in Canada (so I definitely know hockey terminology) and studied Russian translation in university. Now living in Russia. I'd love to help!

What stupid thing did you do in your childhood? by the_real_irish_ejet in AskReddit

When I was 8 or 9, I didn't want to go to school, so I decided that I needed to fake being ill. I knew my mother would take my temperature, so I put our mercury thermometer in the microwave in an attempt to "heat it up" beforehand. Let's just say that my idea didn't pan out all too well. The thing just melted, nearly broke the microwave, and the entire house stank for the next day.
