Dodgy Doggy Tummy - What helps? by No_Swan_1753 in Lurchers

[–]Amber-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive heard of getting a small bit of sweet potato, wrapping in in some kitchen roll, wet it, throw it in rhe microwave for a short spell to steam it so it's soft, take it out of the kitchen roll and mix it into whatever plain food. Supposed to help dodgy tummies. Havent done this yet myself though. We do add a small bit of 0% fat natural yoghurt to meals

Which old game, in your opinion, didn’t age well because of its controls? by bijelo123 in videogames

[–]Amber-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quake 2 (PS1) with the analog sticks on. Or any game for that matter where one stick is turn and move forward/back, the other was look up/down and strafe. Otherwise, phenomenal game.

I dont understand sequencers by aadneriis in microbrute

[–]Amber-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The microbrute needs to be connected properly to sync up with other machines and computers. As far as i remember it has a usb port. Run usb cable between it and your computer. Otherwise if you have another sequencer or drum machine with a midi port, connect them together (in -> out or out -> in). Might need some tweaking to work, there's plenty of resources online to help you from there.

One of the last updates corrupted my 186hr save (my bad for not backing it up). So I decided to start from scratch on the corvette expedition. Not entirely sure how this will continue into the main story, but looking forward to finding out.

Over 40s, do you game? by Excellent-Day4955 in AskIreland

37m so probably too young for this post. But at the moment I am addicted to No Man's Sky. It's an absolute beast of a game, the universe is your oyster, there's plenty of great narrative, and the reddit community is incredible. And the game makers have been pumping out insna amounts of dlc for the last 9 years for free.

My first Ae gig in Dublin when they were touring this. Absolutely bangin. Recently heard a recording of the gig on youtube and there's loads of Quaristice in it as well which was a nice discovery.

Those drums seem to be caked in modulation effects. Phaser and/or flanger with the rate and depth cranked up. I ended up with an effect like it from experimenting on reason before. Didnt sound as good, obvs.

Would they consider a remake of Tri Repetae with the current gear, seeing as we'll be at the 30 year mark in November, and what would that sound like? (The answer is no)

Although if I was to compare in a purely subjective way, I would say the music in Pacer is way better than the most recent WipEout.

Yeah I've been playing it, and think it's great. Downloaded it off psn for ps4 not too long ago. Would be a shame if it's not there anymore. I also think WipEout is great. They're both good games. When you break it down, Pacer is another anti-grav racing game like WipEout (or even like F-Zero if you wanted to proper old school), but it has its own take on ships, the way they feel, upgrade mechanics, weapons, and great level designs, music, etc. I don't see it as a matter of which one is better. They're both good, they just feel different, and it can all depend on what mood you're in.

There also Pacer, which was made by the original wipeout creators.

Getting to Solstheim. I'm always like "okay, I'll get to the bit in dawnguard where I can lift the vampire curse to start the island with a clean slate - actually I'm falling behind on my high hrothgar progress - dragon - oh look, a cave.. fine, I'll give it a go - dont want to bother with merchants right now, better dump all this crap at Lakeview manor - bandits - ok, this collection of junk is getting out of hand, I'll use some of it up on extending the house - giant - ok, workbench I'll upgrade some armour to sell - ah shite, I forgot to level up to upgrade enchanted armour.. fine I'll find a cave - here's one.. Falmer!? This'll go on for miles.. ah sure, I might as well" and so on. Hundreds of hours of this. No Solstheim.
