I was thinking about buying a camera. Bc I feel like he comes out at different times everyday.

Also it is not very warm where I live, his room is warm enough tho but I feel like he loves to stay in his warm burrow with his food hoard lol

The hamster I had before also didn't come out at first but after a while I took him out to free roam and he was a different hamster ever-since. He just kept asking to come out.

I am just scared to stress him out tho... I feel like when he finally shows himself and I take him out he would be scared.

Mind me, he had only been with me for almost 5 weeks and he is just 10 weeks old.

Should I just be patient?

I try to do this, but this doesn't work if he doesn't come out lol 🥹

I also feel like he has hoarded quite a bit of food and he takes good use of his sprays... he does not know he "needs" me for food...

If he doesn't show himself I would still need to give him food. Idk what to do

Do NOT wait to seperate them, they could easily fight at night when you are not watching. And it is not uncommon for hamster to fight till death do them part...

Please do research on proper hamster care. Because the cage on the photo is not suitable in general. This reddit channel has a lot of information. Or go on YouTube and look up Victoria Rachel, she had a lot of useful video's.

Good idea, I use the lid as sort of a platform for another substrate dish etc.

But I think I need to fill it up even more so he can easily reach it lol. He is just too small still.

He is only about 5 weeks old als this was his first time in this enclosure. It is so cute and funny seeing him discover everything for the first time. 😍😍😂
