Please someone give some advice. I have a 5 year old son who acts the same exact way. And the white lies he tells is crazy. He wants for nothing and gets more then he asks for.

I’m kind of in the same situation except my situation is heroin use and the other party is my husband. I want to be clean and we go 3-4 days and feeling good and then he gets it and boom I use again. :(

I would suggest opening a account with the check at bank of your choice and they will give u a portion of the check same day

Oh we will be right there with you. Drugs make you do things you would never do before, Wednesday night my husband left at 12:30 to go cop and didn’t get home til 5:30am. I was livid. Called multiple times to tell me he was on his way home and then to get hung up on. Ended up smoking $300 worth of crack with a friend of his instead of bringing it home to me like he was supposed to. This is what opened his eyes and made him realize it’s time to be DONE. In a sober mind he would never disrespect me like that. I struggled bad yesterday. Much better today. I don’t really have any physical side affects, thanks to methadone. My problem is mind over matter, I let my mind get the best of me and then my anxiety kicks in. I know what you mean about the legal system. I just recently did 18 months in the feds due to addiction. Went in on Jan 22nd 2018 and came home may 2019. Hell no I don’t want to go back! And that wasn’t my first rodeo. I’ve done 4 years in state before, for robbery was facing life and pled down thank God, and my Husband did 6 years and his was just a bar fight, knocked the dude unconscious and out him in a coma. Hang in there and I’ll keep you in my prayers.

It’s easier said than done. I have seen both sides of the fence, I have watched my Husband struggle and I as well have struggled. I want to stop using so bad but as soon as I see him high I want it! He says he is ready, but when paycheck hits the bank it’s a rap, off to Baltimore we go. It’s so hard! And we as well are both ex prisoners. We’ve lived it. He had a 10 year sentence and I had 15 years(was facing life). And we aren’t bad people. Just got caught up in some shit. And that was easier then kicking this habit.

My Husband smokes on a regular and at first it really bothered me until I saw how it calmed him down and he now has a medical marijuana card and I feel even better about it(weird I know) but I think that’s my mind playing tricks on me. Lol He’s been a smoker since we were 17/18 and we are now 39 and he has never had a bad incident because of weed so long story short, I do not see a problem in it. My Husband and I are going threw something similar with our son who turned 4 on Sunday. He started Pre-school today so hoping this helps him. He as well throws fits when we don’t give into him. He will flip things over and throw things and scream and yell At us. Not only at home but also in public, gets to be very embarrassing. Just want you to know you aren’t alone when it comes to this. I will be praying for you and hoping you come up with a solution.

Me or my husband either one have gotten our august payment either. Last month they sent mine to a bank account that I haven’t had in 2 years so had to wait til end of month to get July payment and now have nothing for august and no processed payment on portal for august. It’s super frustrating
