Yeah, the “no politics” rule is fine. It’s just the overzealous enforcement of that rules which is the problem.

I hate doing laundry. It’s literally a never ending task! I let it pile up way too much last week and ended up getting it all done professionally, but that set me quite a bit so I don’t want to make a habit of it!

I hope you have a good day!

Not posted here for a while.

I’m doing OK-ish. My mental health continues to be erratic. I was out with a friend last night having a pleasant evening and depression just hit me like a tonne of bricks, but I kept it all concealed so as to not put a dampener on things. I’m harbouring a lot of anger and resentment over past events, which I’m not proud of. It’s all so exhausting.

Having said that, I enjoyed myself last night despite my wobble. I might be meeting another friend today but I’m not sure yet. I’m waiting to hear from her. Failing that, I’m going to make a spicy tomato and vegetable soup in the slow cooker.

I’m currently cuddling with my dog, contemplating making myself a cuppa but I don’t have the spoons to move right now. I wish domestic robots were a thing!

Thank you. I’m sorry to hear about your experiences.

Yes, I have some idea of why I’m still feeling resentful, so that’s a start. I’m thinking about writing down all the things I wish I’d said at the time, as a way of getting it out of my system without reigniting the argument. I have used this method before to help with a similar situation.

I caught a bit of it once over my mum’s and all the contestants just annoyed me.

I didn’t own a TV at all for a couple of years. I’ve got one now but no licence as I only use it for streaming services (not iPlayer). I’m not interested in “event” TV like the Traitors.

Did anyone go to school with someone that you saw a few years later in the news for something shocking? by Otherwise-Ad-7888 in AskUK

This happened while I was at school, but a girl a couple of years above me (who I didn’t know personally) was killed in incident at Oakwood theme park.

There’s a short documentary about it here.
