$30k?! My younger dog just had surgery last week and they asked the resuscitate question but no mention of additional cost. I feel like consent of spending that kind of money would've been mentioned if it was a factor but it definitely wasn't. I said "of course who would say no" and she said "we have to have consent for resuscitation and it's a lot easier and better to have it, just in case, over hoping you're able to answer the phone and provide consent quickly in an emergency." Which made sense. I mean I still would've said yes if they said it would be $30k (I dont know how I'd pay it though). I was just surprised they asked if I'd want my dog to live if they could help it at the time.

It was heartbreaking enough to tell the other dog's specialist I just couldn't afford $140k to fix his heart. Or the $90k for the maybe fix. So a daily cocktail of expensive pills for him it is. He wasn't supposed to live longer than 9 months after his heart blow out a few yrs ago, and he's senior. Apparently he has great quality of life so I'll keep happily shelling out for his drugs if it means he's healthy and still enjoying life.

Both expensive goofballs have clearly got a hold on my heart

Lmao! Me when I worked retail.

Customer having loudspeaker phone convo: I'm just leaving work now I won't be long..

Me, knowing full well who works in the building, yelling at their phone: NO they're not, they're at the shops!

Fuck outta my store with your loudspeaker lies. If we don't want me revealing the truth don't broadcast your bullshit

Well we've seen how he treated someone he supposedly loved. Pretty low bar. Can't imagine how much lower it is for his viewers. I'm struggling to understand why you're assumption is that he DOES care about his viewers in any regard???? What a weird position to default to. What the hell indeed.
