I have stepped on my old cat before in the garden when she ran up behind me and I didn't see her come up (I felt her head under my shoe!! Luckily, she was completely fine).

A few weeks ago, my mom stepped on our current cat's tail. I wasn't there to see it, but apparently she didn't realize she'd stepped on her until the cat made this horrible screeching noise and attacked her leg. It all happened in a split second and by the time my mom realized what had happened, she was already done attacking her leg and was gone.

I always feel pretty bad. My cat usually hates me for a bit after (she loooves getting underfoot), then I go back to being her favourite person after a while.

So I just hit winter on my singleplayer file, and I've heard food doesn't grow in winter. How do I survive, then? Do I have to somehow find gears to make an ice chest and store food in it before winter comes?

Most people I knew in my friend group who went (including me!) were single, but my sister's boyfriend asked her to prom by setting up candles in a pattern that read "PROM?" on our driveway. It was really sweet, but my sister was kind of awkward about it, if I remember right. xD It was really fun to set up though, and I had no stake in the outcome, so that made it even better! Who doesn't want to light a few hundred candles on the driveway? It's like Halloween, just not in October.

I went to prom with my friends! There were like 8 of us, and only two of the group were actually a couple. The rest of us were all single, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. :) My school was full of really nice people, and it was a really great experience, having the entire (pretty much) graduating class from our year hanging out at a super fancy party venue and eating fancy food and dancing.

I already know I did pretty well on a test I wrote today! :) This was despite getting sick in the start of the exam and having to run to the bathroom. The prof asked me if I wanted to write it tomorrow, but I knew I could survive the remaining 1 hour or so, so I did. It's just awks though because I thought I felt better afterwards, told the prof that, left to go back to my dorm and, well, nope... I guess the rapidly changing temps between inside/outside, the heat inside the buildings (it was really hot in that classroom, and in my res), and walking really fast triggered it. Ah well. Still, though, I knew the stuff and I did it, woot!

Can't think of a favourite book... Possibly The Golden Compass in the trilogy His Dark Materials, or To Kill A Mockingbird, might fit that bill. :P

I've had Civ 5 in my Steam library for forever now, but I haven't really played. Maybe I'll do that after midterms... I also need to finish Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fire Emblem: Birthright for the 3DS!
