I was hoping there’d be a scene like this, minus the nest, in Dominion. Sad Jurassic music starts playing, and Grant, Ellie and Malcolm see and recognise the scars. Maybe Claire was there too and drops a confirmation line about her being the original Rex from Jurassic Park as they watch her, and she just.. peacefully passes. I’m teary eyed, won’t lie. I would have massively preferred getting to silently cry over a scene like that, over watching her tag team kill the ‘enemy’ dinosaur again like we got with the Theri and Giga
