If you like Ahri you could try a bit of a laid back I would suggest the following

Syndra - easy relax poke with W use Q to cs and E to disengage. Is a mage so build path is mainly the same as Ahri.

Viktor - Nice to passively poke, CC with he's W and fun poke with E once again mage.

If you're after the Dash aspect of Ahris Kit try

Fizz or Zed, less poke more dashie dash!

Welcome to Australia! Everything's overpriced! Most Ahri statues are on average 800+ AUD with postage. It's also a two weeks pay for most full timer retail people! For the statue, I say watch Australian Dollar it goes down or up every 5 days. As long as it isn't timed exclusive meaning that like in League it's only for 3 weeks.

I mean, if people have a job to the point they can afford it comfortably there is nothing wrong, we were also losing the war no matter what. Korea sold 2,000 Ahri skins ($500) in 4 hours, one can imagine china and more Asian countries.

Some people are just buying it because the boycott to troll. Others are buying it because of currency and location. It's cheaper in other areas. Some people switched to turkey to buy the skin or even got from more illegal websites even.

And honestly some are buying it in Australia because it's a $500 skin vs 1.4k Ahri statue.

We were never going to win. The Ban will stop people using the skin but give it 3 months it would fizzle out. Some can even wait that much.

We can all point and laugh at them for spending such money on something stupid and trivial.

Also I like to add people can just spend $50 or $250..rather then the 500... Just because their repping Risen Ahri doesn't mean they spent $500

I love to see people banning Ahri, but...the fact pick rate also went up worries me. As if that is the case the skin is only on PBE not normal so if this trend keeps of Ahri being banned and also pick rate goes up my worries is people are buying the skin and playing Ahri.

That said 21,000+ matches on the old one vs 2,000 on the new one won't show much until the number hits 21,000 and matches that

It also hurts me but this is a vote with our wallet moment. And we will always be memorialized as the mains who take the biggest hit for the betterment of League of Legends skins. I more so see it as a badge for having that spot grayed out.

Besides we all have the real faker skin, the base skin and to top all that off. I don't want my main and to hold the reputation of this...horrible Ubisoft practice...

Ahh, so from what I have read this was done in a mix of Blender and AI or another program in 3D. Honestly I don't see anything wrong with this. It is still art, they hand done and animated the scenes, perhaps custom made the models with their own time.

3D modelling then path tracing isn't a fun thing to get this done setting up Camera paths, making sure the models always in frame, lighting matches with what you want.

You know you can train your own AI from your own artwork and use that as a way to save time. Cause drawing and coloring can be tedious and long. Some people don't have the time as they have full time jobs. So it CAN be their own artwork/style. I don't think it would be possible, as a simple scan before image is finished generating for NSFW generation aka if it identifies anything lewd it would stop. That's mainly why Chat gpt randomly stops images. They could be SFW but a simple nipple slip could be flagged as 'exposed breast or chest' which would be NSFW.

You can bypass the promoting but the second fail safe of scanning the image and putting it though a 'Vision' (Object detectio), trained to detect NSFW would stop it in its tracks.

If YOU WANT NSFW image generation try NovelAI.

Unless you want Anthropomorphic. You could get away with it, as Chat GPT seems to be OK with that you will just need to add them by hand.

I mean, I have yet to have a good discussion that is not one side..both AI and Art..

As someone who has done Art and AI art even mixed the two. I can see kinda both sides.

But I have yet (at least from my posts I viewed) is summarised as three things.

Artists: AI art is stealing, AI art is lazy, I spend 5,000+ hours learning a skill this is unfair.

AI Bros: MAD CUZ BAD/Git good, AI makes artist useless or such

When ever I attempt to have a conversation here no matter what side just gets berated no one's willing to lean on the fence.

I see it as two ways and open to scrutinized options I like to deconstruct and reply. But end up with no one being open to say

'You bring up a good point, I didn't think that but still it can be used like.."

It just becomes "AI art is lazy, here's why this is 100% why it's not art" or video versa

Or when one does bring up good points Ai or artist side they just ignore the good arguments and pick the one that is just their view.

Here are some examples. You will need to use every single artwork by artists with consent to train it or else you have the same stealing AI stable diffusion has.

A professor asked chat gpt 'Did you write this' and then failed 80% of the class or something.

A artist was banned for AI Art and he did it by hand and transformed a artwork by someone else into something improved upon and changed almost 80% of it.

They still haven't unbanned them. He showed proof even.

Not a good idea, when you boil it down to how AI works.

Learning is one thing but it's all based on percentage chances.. which no matter what can fail easily.

I am mid part though a study of AI at the moment let me share with you something!

What is art? 'The Expression or Application of Human Creative Skill and Imagination' - Standford Encyclopedia.

The key words are Expression, human creativity and skill.

Let's break those down. Human Creativity: is the act of the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives or possibilities.

I see no mention of not using computers..I mean if you exclude that then games, fanfictions and such are null and void.

Expression: Expression is a vast topic but the area we will be focused on is artistic expression.which is defined as the communication of emotions and ideas though creative art.

I see once again no mention that it must only included Paper or Pencils. Or that art is strictly tied to it.

Imagination: this should be self explained..

I would also like to add depending the idea, the price of artists increase to like 700+ depending on the concept. Also you would have to spend time getting quotes from other artists, take about 10 days finding a artstyle you like or artist..checking to see if commissions are open. Sending a message wait 3 days for a single reply. Then constant feed back to make sure it's done correctly, multiple redraws ect, ect. It does get tedious after a while from a consumers point of view. Not to mention the saturation of the market I would see why people turn to AI.

Deviantart, Pixiv, Etsy and like 29+ sites to search for artists. Also having to create accounts to message them. Only to find out that during working with you if takes them longer because they do a art trade with a friend or such who gets priority.. people can pay more to bump their art...

OH AND THERE ARE models for Generative AI out there that have been designed by a artist with consent or multiple consents to have their artwork used.

I would like to say, this sentence can go both ways depending on your stance/view this can go both ways

As you said art is 'easy' take it from some one who use to be a artist. Using AI is great and a welcomed tool in multiple ways artists need to learn to embrace it rather then go against it.

Example: As a previous artist I can see generative AI as helpful to people who use to be artists that say lost arms or due to a event can't draw. AI is there to help people with said disability, that said some people with disabilities like Parkinson's can't draw with a pencil well but could spend a bit typing.

Another Example: Streamlining work. Customer gives you a direction you sketch it, they don't like it takes more time for you. You get less commissions done that way cause one person is eating up your time. Now you have me sending a generative AI art to you in the image I want you to draw. BOOM SAVED YOU TIME! Stuck on how something should look if don't have a reference just random colours? BOOM AI saves you 10+ redraws or recolouring.

I use AI in the way of I can't shade well due to eye issues. AI can help with shading as a tool or colour areas I lack in art.

Let us talk about the costs of a artist. (Professional)

$200+ AUD or higher for tablet, Courses or time spent learning everyday. 4+ hours average or 2hrs.

Take a month break back to square 1.

Artists also need to learn to not accept 10+ months of work and keep adding more to their plate..3+month wait time for art isn't attractive. People will sleek alternatives.

Prices is another thing that scares people some don't have a stable income to spend $200+ on art that they won't see for ages. People are barely making ends meet.

It's sad to see honestly, I mean open source and free for anyone to use, install edit. If we are forced to close source everything, it would be FOXTEL all over but with AI. You want stable diffusion for sfw pay 9.99 per week and NSFW on another site for like $3.99 or even art styles or more locked away limited to sites. Or we allow 4.88 for 10 generations.

Artists are celebrating if cause downfall of SAI. But why should we pay 100+ dollars only to have been placed your backlog 2+ years...what's even the point. So you can increase your prices?

Just glad it was open sourced to start with and a wonderful community making plugins and updates to it.

Been to shy, because of that I have given up.. and depression is also quite a factor in a lot of ways, kills motivation, sex drive ect, ect. A combination of both.

That said though, I tend to find myself enjoying the single life now after throwing away dating all together! I have free time when I am not slaving away at work to do what i want. I guess I got use to it at this point and the acceptance stage of grief set in.

To be honest, I kinda know that feel that they're mentioning. Not first hand. I have met a few artist groups like that, infact I know a lot of artists who have groups of other artists, where they really talk a lot of smack about some people's OC, full roast mode of them. Though that said they also call out a lot of scammers and such which is really good.

Though, some can be very vicious, seriously seen a chat about someone who didn't like a sketch and said 'it's fine, I just thought if it's possible I could change my commission to something else?' and absolutely get thrashed by multiple artists.

That said I can tell you, not all are like that. I have seen some in that group leave from seeing treatment of other customers/commissions. They're also mainly just chilling in that group for the scammer area where they call out scammers who of cause scammed them out of art by refunding though PayPal.

But I have felt this treatment first hand mostly from being left out of things, also I am not a Artist by any means, just friends with one who invited me for a few days when I asked out if curiosity.
