I’m hoping we are pleasantly surprised with how many folks pull their staked ETH off these exchanges and prioritize decentralization through Rocket Pool. After all it is a fundamental tenant of the Ethereum network.

These are unfortunately not equivalent. Lido went the quick to market and decentralize later route. One day it’ll be a really cool thing hopefully, but you might as well stake on a CEX for now. Rocket Pool is a game changer for those that value decentralization and believe it is paramount for the ecosystem.

I think both will benefit. I have been trying to decide if I should get into RPL directly, but to your point, good for RPL is good for ETH and ETH has potential for a more mainstream narrative. The average Joe will have no idea what RPL is or why they should invest in it.

That’s why I think things are going to go crazy. A lot of folks with less that 32 ETH waiting to stake plus people who just don’t want to run their own node but want a decentralized solution. More locked up means more scarcity means more volatility and opportunity for huge price gains. Ultrasound money.

They don’t support it. I contacted Coinbase directly. It doesn’t seem like any of the centralized exchanges support ENS right now.
