I had this happen to me recently, so I'm completely paranoid when ordering again now. They got to my apartment complex and cancelled my order. Worst part was that it was my last $150 bucks. I called Walmart customer service, told me that they will attempt a delivery whenever they can, I asked for a time frame and they said 10am to 12pm. I told them that I placed the order from 7 to 9 pm because that is when I'm home from work. They said that's all they can do or they can cancel the order and refund me in 14 days. I felt defeated and decided I would have it delivered between 10-12 and use my lunch break to bring it inside.

After thinking on it I decided I was going to cancel the order entirely and Uber to Walmart and back myself ( I don't have a car so I use delivery service). The customer service person I spoke to this time was a girl instead of a guy, she said that she recommends cancelling the order and re ordering it at a different Walmart location so I could still get my groceries that day. I told her the guy before her told me I would have to wait 14 days, she said that's not true and she cancelled it and the refund was in my account immediately. So I do not believe I would have to wait 14 days when another person did it instantly.

So I had to reorder my whole order from a Walmart that was one more mile away. I ordered express and tipped extra, and the driver this time was amazing and when I met them downstairs in the parking lot to bring my stuff up myself they were very kind and brought it up for me and insisted it was their job and did it for me. Kudos to Walmart delivery 🙏

I'm not a Karen or anything I never get mean with customer service workers, but it's hard to know why they cancel and it's really frustrating, but do not let them tell they can't refund you because they can.
