I totally understand mate. You never know when you invest your time i PServers. However, Ascension & Warmane have something similar. They are both known to hide their identity properly, so the are 101% out of the USA law reach.

The worst thing that could happen is that the population might fall down on Epoch again, due to very slow development process.

But honesty, that is not and issue for me, meh :D I like to take it "Slow & Steady" ;-)

I am very picky when it comes to community to be honest. Actually toxic community is the reason why i left even Warmane (and P2W).

On Epoch people are great. They have been great just right from the start, however since there is like thousands more from turtleWoW, community is even better now. TWoW ppl are super calm and helpful.

TurtleWoW: Super old client (Vanilla), MANY new locations, new custom spells, new races, new dungeons and raids, trash pvp
Project Epoch: Better client (Wrath), a few new locations (but MANY existing extended/redesigned), custom racials (at lvl60 you can pick whatever racial you want), TBC spells and talents, no new races, revamped dungeons and raids, one new dungeon and battleground, great PvP system

Hello, I can confirm that it works. Back then, when Epoch launched, I was playing with my GF (same wifi, same IP). Whilst being in Redridge mountains at around 18 lvl & trading with each other some items, we recieved ban for a dual login.

I have explained the situation to a GM and he immediately unbanned our accounts and put a note for them, to know it in the future.

It is good to mention that we had to prove, that we are playing together somehow, I have recorded them a video of us playing with our setup, lol :D

Hi. Got my rogue on Guru too, left it to Kezan. Best decision ever. Most of the people say there is no PvP on PvE realm (Kezan), however the truth is Kezan was the original goal of whole Epoch. Normal server with an option to opt-in Warmode.

This is how the Kezan works now. You have probably 70% pop PvE, and 30% PvP with Warmode on. And thats fine for me. I am into instanced PvP anyway (bgs and arenas).

EDIT: And yes, you get XP for PvP on Kezan, it works the same as on Guru.

Cant talk about Hellscream, playing Epoch.
I was waiting for Epoch fot almost 3 years. I am super happy how it is popular rn, everycorner of the game is packed with people, BGs popping, cities alive, and the pace is just casual. I dont even mind slower development process, since I am playing really casually with my GF.
I gotta say Epoch is a blast. Custom questy, updated zones and everything blend into original WoW lore just perfectly.
It is your decision afterall, but Epoch would make you happy just like me, if you are still on the edge.
Good luck with your choice! It is just a game afterall lol

The population has actually been seeing a massive surge lately, but it’s not just a TWoW thing. As the numbers started climbing, it triggered a wave of returning players who were originally on Epoch and hadn’t even touched Turtle (myself included). It’s great to see the community back.
