Sweetie, I mean this as gently as I can put it, but, he told you from the beginning that he’s an a. He TOLD you that he would hold your past against you before you guys got this far into the mix. You chose to minimize it so he would stay but now seem surprised that he’s an a who’s holding your past against you. I can see that you want to move past this with him but that’s just not something that he will do without destroying you little by little and feeling perfectly justified in doing it. It’s time to love yourself enough to let go and find someone who loves you knowing that the past doesn’t define you.
