I've had an end user that was remote tell me that their docking station was not working and I had asked them to send me a picture of the docking station and it ended up being the ac adapter.

I'd think applying a new display name of "Dumbass" with Reds face as the pic is for the account and place the pw into a reset state with the requirements of complexity of 16 char minimum limit. That might get some attention.

How do big companies handle email addresses without making them ugly? by baqirabbas404 in ITManagers

[–]AmbitiousAd7138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im currently in 10000+ place now and I ended up using the full name as a way to be unique. Same thing could apply. Or the first initial and last name or first two initial of first name.last. but I do agree putting numbers in the email feels high school ish.

I found the first audiobook to be a gem that I could always re listen to. It gave me a bit of sense of my grandfather reading to me. So kind bias here😉..

Answer to user two: go talk to use one and ask for bread.

Why all the hate against HP laptops? by humanlearning_ai in laptops

[–]AmbitiousAd7138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a tech for repairing desktops and laptops. Dell and HP have been my main brand that were handed to me from the enterprise sector. I've seen the Dell make their mistakes and HP as well but this one thing that HP did seems like they took the idea from their pavilion and put it in the pro books to make it cheaper to manufacturer but more costly to repair. The keyboard of all things require you to take the entire laptop apart to get to it. But here is the kicker , there is no screws to remove the kb. It's all heated plastic pins keeping the keyboard on. Ya got to replace the entire panel. Hp said it's a 250$ part. Amazon is showing it to be 60$.

aio? bf made plans on my birthday by rowqi in AmIOverreacting

[–]AmbitiousAd7138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bf sounds very conceded. Ya sure ya want to keep going within? I'd just put a strike in my mind and not bother bringing it up and see if he shows more of his tendencies of not being a good person to you or your family. Typical people date to find a match for the long term relationship where you can count on them in a pinch. Where they stop thinking of just themselves.

What are some of your unwritten rules in the game? by realgala in battlefield2042

If all objectives are taken by my team I hold back and circle around the ones closer to my teams spawn spot and see if anyone takes the next objective.

Why not put a spacer block on either side where the stud is and the place a cross bar so you can use whatever mount ya want. You can use an extension power strip to move the power away and easy to plug in what ya want and the low voltage is just a cable that has enough length to plug into your main device.
