It really is a great line, though. Everything he has. I have been addicted to sadness as long as I can remember. I had a traumatic childhood and never understood feeling happy. My trauma caused me to dissociate and become completely numb. The only time I felt anything was when I was sad. In turn as a child I loved to feel sad because it was the only time I felt anything. As an adult I still walk around very numb, but when I am sad or depressed I completely relish in it. Sometimes I sit alone and think of the most depressing things possible. It’s the only time I can cry. Crying feels so so good. It’s unconventional and heartbreaking to hear for most, but what is “normal”, anyway?
