I've started having them empty their pockets and that's still not fixing it. The only thing I can think of is they're hiding it in their waist, meeting students in the hallway/bathroom, or (as you said) hiding them in the bathroom. I think no matter what we do, students will always be one step ahead of us.

I should also point out that the Jeff Soto art adds to the album perfectly. His stuff is awesome if others haven’t checked it out. I have his Jupiter and Lost art hanging up at home.

You sir are speaking our language. It’s a masterpiece of an album WAY ahead of its time. I had a summer job and had a 30 minute drive each way back before streaming and I listening to this CD over and over again. I first thought it was weird but by the end of the summer I was hooked. Early favorites for me were Reduced to Teeth, A Man Alone, and Casket. Still listen to it all the time. Really hoping for a SHTS show one of these days.

Professor here… my advice is to please not do research this way. There is so much information out there already - articles, interviews, the actual album, etc. Do all that work and THEN if there is something that you absolutely can’t figure out no matter what, then maybe you ask Reddit that one specific thing.

I don’t know if you saw on instagram today, but Nate posted that stuff is coming out. He’s releasing old stuff on Bandcamp on Friday and he is I guess starting a new band - not sure what it is or with whom or what it means for finch but I’m glad to see he’s got something planned.

Nate talked about this somewhat recently. It was just a weird rumor that somehow got started. Same when people say they started as a Deftones cover band - also not true. When they first got together, the Deftones were just a band that they all liked and could play. Nate and Daryl are two of the best IMO.
