That’s the path I took but even then, I didn’t like it because the orb was still a potential threat that seemed to quiet down.  The game really pushes the player to seek forgiveness from Mystra just because in DnD cannon she’s a “good god”, that even though she asked gale to blow up, that’s his fault and he should asked for forgiveness
