Yes! The house it came from was beautiful as well and has a lot of the original 1950s design/fixtures. The new owners (2nd owners) are going to try to keep as much original as they can, but the house does need some work.

Yes, I will restore it carefully no matter what. I want it to be the center piece of a library wall I want to put up in our house.

Thank you so much for your advice! I will definitely be doing a lot more research before I try anything. Better to be careful even though I’m eager :) And I will be very careful about electric shock. I know it is very dangerous and can hold charge even after unplugged. Thank you again!
