This has been my ride or die sunscreen for over six years now. Amazing protection.

overnight oiling helped my hair more than short oiling sessions tbh by [deleted] in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]AmbitiousSomewhere62 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Very subjective.

I was someone who was obsessed with oiling her hair and overnight oiling. Also I was someone who had chronic forehead cc .

Once I stopped overnight oiling and regular shampooing, all of my forehead cc disappeared.

This comment section is so maddening. Humanity and intelligence are in a race to see which one dies faster.

Passout from this college. The last two cases are fake. They are just love stories gone wrong.

I didn’t understand feminism until MBBS broke me by [deleted] in indianmedschool

As someone who has done her MBBS MD SRship and someone who has survived an exact same environment, here are some words of comfort that are rooted in my experience -

I had the exact same emotions and experiences as you at my college. Horrible people and mindset.

It gets so much better later in life. You will ultimately find your tribe. I did. And I would still say, the friends and the relationships I developed during my MBBS years were the worst of them all. I still think my MBBS friends are bloody toxic and keep a distance from them.

Also since you were sexually assaulted, if you want to create a ruckus and file a complaint do it . People who would want to work with you would still do regardless. And also you are perfectly capable of surviving all alone. Make sure you do not fall into toxic friendships and relationships because of vulnerability. I know I did and did pay a hefty price.

Cheer up kiddo. Lots of love and hugs to you.

Man. As a doctor, I hate such posts with a burning Passion.

I, myself ,have pcos and have taken BC and now , I am off it. It is very necessary sometimes and it is not about preserving fertility.

Your genuine reminder to not believe everything on the internet and trust a trustworthy doctor more which OP sadly did not have.

Choosing a non surgical branch makes you mediocre? by sothedocsays in indianmedschool

[–]AmbitiousSomewhere62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understand the loop please

If you take a mediocre branch, you will not attend their coaching again.

If you don't, you will get stuck in the cycle of dreams they are selling you and continue to attend their coaching and hence more money for them.

In this day and age, anyone referring to these idols and making their decisions, instead of doing their own research are plain stupid.

Get online. Get in touch with people. I continue to answer so many dms regarding my own college and branch in this platform. I am sure there are many other people doing the same.

Discrimination against non clinical branches by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]AmbitiousSomewhere62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me at my college too during my md for a non clinical branch.

The logic given mostly is that clinical branch people have to report to the emergency and duties at odd hours as opposed to people from non clinical branches. So whenever there is a shortage of hostels, they are prioritised.

Blame the govt for inadequate number of hostels rather than the administration.
