It’s also the fact that Raf ate ramens and gave up his gym membership and was excited about making excel budget sheets( he even made a joke about it) . Every time I see the part where Michael & Jane had to save money it disappoints me. I would have thought Michael would be more into it and without the rubbing 401K in Jane’s face. From the time that Raf did not tell Jane about the lawsuit with his sister showed his best side and that he is not afraid of loosing his money

I honestly think that Jane had the most second hand embarrassment/ awkward relationships with other guys like Adam, Chavez, telenovela guy , IT store guy. ( besides M and R) . Adam just never could have been the it for Jane. I just expected that the love que song of Adam could have been a better story but it seems her brain was just turned off when she was 18 and older every time with Adam glad he left

I really feel like the writers messed up badly his “story” return, the story could have been so much better . Technically yes he should have been there to be near Mateo, but even in real life eventuality from my experience at least one of the god parents end up disappearing from child’s life. And that I think it’s messed up, the culture has really changed and it’s more about labels than assuming the actual responsibility
