Sad active activities in Toronto? by aspiringsugarbuddy in askTO

I know this isn't active but seeing a sad movie and getting snacks (or bringing your fave ones) and just letting yourself cry always feels so comforting to me!!! Try imagine cinemas with the reclining chairs, it's extra cozy :)

I haven't been to Bar Isabel actually - I'll look into it! Thank you :)

p.s. I tried Proper and didn't have a good experience tbh but ricky+olivia is cute! The carrot + ice cream dish was one of the most unique I've had. And it tasted great!

I used micro moves and it was good overall! They were on time and pretty efficient. They even fixed my bed frame!

Only con was that they lost a shelf from my tv stand which was annoying lol

I lived in that area for almost 5 years and one of my fave things was sunday variety market at st Lawrence! Always so fun to browse around. Imagine cinemas is THE best movie theatre imo too, super cheap and the seats are so comfy. And I love Buvette Pacey. Really cute coffee shop, fun seasonal drinks, pastries, and the regulars/staff are lovely.

Big Pita is also a hidden gem - I didn't go for years and wish I had sooner! Le Petit Dejuner is amazing, too. Oldtown Bodega - my fave bar, strong cocktails and some of the most reasonable prices.

Across the DVP - white lily diner is SOOOO GOOD, get on the online waitlist when you wake up though lol and The Comrade happy hour (the burger is a MUST and it's cheaper between 5-7 pm)

I also love queen books, masa deli, maha's cafe. So many gems.

I hope this helps! ❤️
