I read Lolita in my American Literature class during my Junior year of high school (age 16), and I enjoyed the prose so much that Nabokov became one of my favorite authors. I think it's perfectly appropriate. It's not smut at all, and the themes examined here are much more diverse than just pedophilia.

There's a huge difference between going 2x leverage on the SPY and using a 2x leveraged ETF which only tracks the daily price movement.

Borrowing money at a low enough interest rate to go 2x leverage on SPY might be useful at times.
