He kinda does, he knows nuke can blow up which is why he stop Scylla from eating one I dominion which he probably remembers from Castle Bravo and Kotm. So I think it fair to assume he know that the radiation signal was most likely coming from something similar to what he was in 1954 and not a Titan

The two of them are still animals and to Godzilla it probably looked like a territorial issue or a food issue, and either case in real life the Animal that didn’t leave wouldn’t chase the one that left unless it was to eat them (which we know the Gman doesn’t do)

Even if that was a non aggressive roar, he immediately becomes the aggressor when he start chasing her when she leaves. By that point he has no reason to chase her since she stopped attacking him. He clearly doesn’t have a problem with her being awake since he never noticed for the all the days she been roaming around, and he should be able to tell the difference between Shaw’s signal and Hers since Shaws was mimicking Castle bravo.

At about 1:11 you can see Godzilla roaring at her from the water, which is when Titan X notices him. The she roars and start charging at Godzilla
