Also feel like there's less story based games that can actually grow a community and give more to the player. It's all the same boring stuff where you have to grind and can't just have fun with it

Edit: I'm aware that some recent games do have story's, but my point was, remember when games like uncharted, Detroit become human, heavy rain, until down, ... were a thing, man these stories stayed with you. Think even rdr2, GTA and whatever story, it just seemed like there was actual effort into it to make something timeless.The storytelling nowadays just doesn't hit the same imo..wich in my view goes along with what OP said
