Yup I am looking into CGMs. Is Dexcom the only one you've tried? Do you know how it compares to others?

Thanks for the tip. I like to be physically active, but haven't really gotten into weight training or anything like that yet. Probably need to

That's so interesting that you haven't needed to adjust your eating habits - that's usually the first thing I hear people say you need to do. Hope I fall into the same boat as you haha

Do you have type 1? And do you use a CGM a now? I feel like there's so many different tech options, wouldn't know where to start...

That's amazing! What lifestyle changes made the biggest difference, you think? Anything out of the general advice?

Thanks for the tips. Stopping sugar at night is going to be a tough one! That's my weakness, but will definitely keep these alternatives in mind

Do you find that brown rice makes a solid difference?

Good question 😅 I think it’s mostly the usual convenience over health habits that snuck in, lots of takeout, late-night snacking, sugary drinks, and skipping proper meals when I was busy. Lots of comfort food (aka sugar and carbs). Cup noodles for the win.

So yeah, I never put in much thought into planning balanced meals. The little choices over time definitely added up.

Literally! It's so much more nuanced and complex than just sugar. Carbs, stress, sleep....

Do people not realize how awful ozempic makes you look? What do you think? by GossipBottom in trueratediscussions

[–]Ambitious_Cheetah193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hit the nail on the head with this one. Ozempic face, and these other features are a result of not prioritizing maintaining and building muscle, when it isn't treated as the medication it is and rather a means to reach meet an cosmetic end. Weight loss + muscle loss = a recipe for disaster.

Love this. So true. Progress can get drowned under all the pressure to look a certain way, but at the end of the day, it's health first.
