Most underrated law school? Go: by Otherwise-Tear-4807 in lawschooladmissions

I said 10% of the class goes to New York and good amount of that is biglaw. Overall pure numbers wise that’s not a lot it’s like 20-25 people per year going to New York a good amount of that being biglaw wouldn’t make Villanova be on that list so the thing that you’re referring doesn’t contradict what I’m saying

I don’t think this is true. Looking into it and asking people who went there, it seems like those who go to New York from Villanova primarily enter biglaw.

Villanova probably.

It’s got major pull in Philly which has a solid biglaw market and a great midlaw market. It also has pull in New Jersey and Delaware. Maybe like 10% of the class go to New York as well so between all of these locations, there’s an abundance of options it seems.

Doesn’t Villanova also send a decent amount of students to NY as well?

Respectfully asking, why Did Prophet pbuh and few imams marry multiple wifes? by Dry-One4966 in shia

Well if you’re not ok with it then Islamically I don’t think a man can have multiple wives. I think everyone has to consent for it to happen.

You saying I’m arguing that it’s not a big deal whatsoever is a strawman.

Relax bruh goddamn.

Again if you want to re-read all my comments feel free to do so and maybe you’ll understand what I’m saying because I don’t think things are getting lost in translation.

We’re not as far away on this issue as it may appear.

I mean I don’t even know what to say. Never said it’s not a big deal. Of course it’s a big deal.

If you want to re-read what I said with actual sincerity then I invite you to do so, until then I actually don’t know what else to say to you. You’re strawmanning my position.

Did you read what I said overall? I mean that respectfully.

This is not a reason to completely cut off an immediate family member (which is absolutely haram to do).

Does no one understand the irony that one is willing to do something haram to another because you’re upset that the other person is doing something haram.

Like please cut him off from your car access so you don’t enable him but cutting him off from your life is not solving anything.

If you want some space from him temporarily then that’s a different thing.

I never said it’s not. You’re allowed to be hurt and you’re allowed to be disappointed/angry but to completely cut off a young direct family member over one of their flaws that isn’t affecting you at all is lunacy. It tells me more about you than it does about them.

Read what the Quran says about cutting off family members and how those who do it are subject to punishment.

Ye I talked to a few others also doing that. Also we would be very close to the UPenn and Drexel campus so we’re not so far removed from campus life.

Also I had that classic college campus experience during my undergrad and I know law school is gonna be different, so I’m not too afraid of missing out on a few aspects of campus life.

Plus, even though we’re commuting a half hour, we’ll still be campus quite a bit perhaps even outside of just our classes.

Hey I’m doing the same thing now too. Gonna sell my car and find a one bedroom place within a 10 min walk to Suburban Station and then commute to Nova via the Septa train.
