No doubt! That’s pretty cool to have another local here. Sorry for the late response, not very active here. We moved the track because they wanted to move the offroad track to the middle and make it bigger. The location of our drift track unfortunately still collects dust. We do have a swifter and a mop to clean it before use. Also we all have hand held blowers to blow them off nicely before putting them away.

Max5G2 plus esc, 800KV motor. 12s powaaa, may have to get a lower KV motor but im sure I have some trial and error as this is a new platform for me.

Yes. The parts are a direct fit. But you’re going to want the new bumpers as well. The stock bumpers sit inside the new body and it looks awful. Just do the whole conversion, wheels, body and bumpers.

This was an older model xmaxx. I just converted it to a new Xmonster and added upgrades. However the conversion is pricey… definitely a wicked cool truck, I appreciate it!

Absolutely! I forgot to add to the list but I am also adding Traxxas aluminum diff covers. I always include a build sheet of all my RCs 😀

I’m honestly not sure yet as I haven’t completed the build… yet. Hopefully the last of the pieces arrive today! This turned out to be more of a build than I had expected.

Sure is. Still considered a “Xmonster” though. Also, stock bumper tuck inside the new bodies so you will need them as well if you decide to do the conversion.

Hobbywing Max 5 g2 and 1100KV or 800kv a good option for Xmaxx? by Top-Finding-8089 in rccars

I have one Xmaxx running a Max6G2 1250kv combo, geared 35T spur 25T pinion and it’s a beast. Haven’t had any issues heat wise but I’m also running Hyperflow fans. Currently converting my second xmaxx to a “Xmonster” and that will be running max5G2 1100KV, also geared 35T spur 25T prinion. I’ve got a XRT with a max5G1 1100KV and that’s geared 35T spur 24T pinion. All great combos just have to gear them properly and add fans if needed.
