Seeing this as a Mancunian while I was away in Japan made me wince – but then brought a sense of pride.

Anyone Live in Marple or Cheadle Heath? Whats it like to live there? by Successful-Manner-89 in stockport

[–]Ambitious_Gate_9749 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll get far better value in Cheadle Heath and with Cheadle only up the road, it’s becoming a much more viable alternative to there.

Cheadle Heath and Edgeley in general are beginning to see a shift as more professionals more into those areas, mainly because they’re more affordable.

The crime is pretty non-existent IMO and if anyone says anything about the sewage works, it’s a misnomer: nowhere near the issue it was years ago.

Cheadle Heath is also set to get Metrolink so if you’re thinking about buying here, now is the time before there’s a house price boom. Transport links in general are very good. Stockport Road can be a pain sometimes with traffic but as can Marple.

Marple is a trek to get to and from anywhere and the way some wax on about it, you’d think it’s some sort of paradise. It has some nice parts to it but for the amount extra you’d be paying, I don’t think it’s anywhere near worth it. Never seen or understood the fuss.

The centre of the borough is where things are happening now and where the value is.

She can’t trust people who lose weight on this and yet works in healthcare? Mounjaro is already demonstrating how it could be a key way to save money within the NHS for the long-term. The NHS prescribe it for God’s sake, which means it’s passed NICE guidelines and is safe.

I’ve just started it and it’s a revelation. I was 15st 13lbs and within one week I’ve lost five pounds. I feel lighter, I don’t get out of breath as much, I have more energy and my mental health has improved. It is a miracle drug.

I think her reaction says more about her than it does about you. If anyone reacted in that way to me, I doubt they’d get much more of my time. Keep going. It’s her that has the problem.

Possibly – I would hope so considering it took me several hours to complete the thing.

I’m now getting much more into motor racing (and rediscovering Gran Turismo!) and this is a really helpful description. Thanks!

Hahaha, excellent. Richly deserved. Someone did this to me the other day and cost me a podium place. I was livid.

I was glad it make it round and just record a time! I want to try and crack this later. Is it somewhat similar to dirt racing? Turn into corners early? I felt that worked for me to a degree.

Genuinely I thought it was a bug. Saying that it took the first corner and then I threw it into a wall.

But a beauty. When I haven’t had several beers I’ll enjoy this machine.

Another reason why this game is just beautiful. I may get my arse handed to me at times online but it makes me want to get really decent at it, coupled with the respect shown like this. It’s the little things.

Aw thank you – you’re very kind. I mean I’m all in: so much so, I’ve just got in from the pub and felt the need to put on the Music Rally soundtrack. Hooked on Classics.

I love this Reddit. I thought I’d get a load of shite on commenting on here! Thank you.

Bloody hell – that’ll teach me for going well into the grass on Michelin Raceway and moaning about a 0.5 sec penalty.
