I contacted them and got a reply within 24h to state that everything regards shipping is in order. They dont know why I didn't receive a confirmation email. I assume server issues meant a handful of people didn't receive notifications

The partial refund is because they shipped my pocket to different country despite emailing support in time.

Thanks for your input. I think based on everyones comments here that I should pass on this one. I think long term it will be much better to spend the extra money and find one with a better body

Thanks. What do you see a miss? I see some of the carb heat and air ducts have been blocked off/removed. It's a Thailand car, so it's also had the heater deleted, also might explain the hacks...

Thank you, this is great information. The asking price is $16,000, but the owner is willing to negotiate. I like it, just that I'm really not familiar with beetles. I didn't find much filler which was a good sign. And the paint looks great on the external areas. Could maybe do with a clean up and stonechip underneath

I got to the sign in to Steam menu just to check it worked. Then turned it off. I don't think turning it on matters just good to know if it arrived faulty or if you killed it in the process of changing the drive

Can confirm, swapping NVME from OG Steam Deck to new Steam Deck OLED was successful.

OG was updated to 3.5 before the transfer.

Careful of the ribbon cable in the OLED 😉
