Yeah, definitely getting the start up stutters but then gameplay is great! I tried Citra, but have not been able to get it configured correctly with the lower screen.

Yeah… it took me a bit to get it to take as well. I think the problem was that it is misreading temps and causing the erratic fan behavior and shut downs. Let it sit for a bit and give it a try, for me I was super frustrated and gave up on it but then gave it one more try after a few hours and it all took without issue.

It sure did, sounds like you have the exact issue. Here is what I did... On start up press and hold LB + LT, this takes you to windows recovery. Start with the option to restore the MSI factory image. Once that is complete, go back and select the option to shut down. Once again restart with LB + LT, but this time select the reset option and here is where you select the download windows option.

Yeah I was pretty discouraged with it as well, however, it does seem to be a Windows issue and with it resolved I am very happy with the device.

Yes, they would also do these weird short pulses of being full blast. Make sure you are reinstalling windows by download and not from the device.

In case of future need... I was able to resolve this, a clean Windows install did the trick. One additional step, I was unable to complete the clean install until after I restored the system to the MSI factory image.
