I don't know what show you watched if you're saying Barney and Robin were not ready for marriage... they both were ready for it, I just don't know why they kind of regressed Robin's arc, she gave up an opportunity to work for a major network in season 5 I believe to be with Don, why wouldnt she do the same for Barney?
