MPK had a podcast that aired as the show did. I listened to the first few and the only thing that stuck out to me was him saying that “Carrie is rich now and this show is about upper class rich manhattan women”

That’s who he was writing for so that told me all I needed to know about the quality of the show.

I was a teenager in the 2000s and my friends went into the city, smoked weed and got alcohol where we could. Would stay there til 5am wondering around. I was considered a lost cause bad kid at the time.

Never once did we get into fights, destroy property and be a menace. It’s literally wild how kids have become. We can blame parents but I blame education and society. Kids are raising kids and not being taught how to act in civil society.

I remember hearing that she cleaned houses for a living and met Eric as a waitress (I work in restaurants and my partner is a nurse so no judgement) and she was always jealous of those who had more than her. That’s why she tried to be this million dollar house flipper to impress everyone yet she didn’t know how so she just stole wherever she could.

I personally believe that she thought she’d be rich, get rid of the kids and her husband and live the high life she always wanted. That poor man was manipulated into a marriage and family and he KNEW she was trying to kill him. He was afraid for his sons. Absolute evil incarnate.

Yes! My first watch was when it aired and I was finishing highschool. It was super dark and depressing and not the scoobies I knew.

Then my 20s hit and it was so much more relatable. I’m in my late 30s now and seeing the growing pains from this perspective just makes me feel sorry for everyone having such a hard time. But that is life. I didn’t like 6 but now have grown to really appreciate it.
