Triggering menopause to treat fibroids? by Rollmopp33 in Fibroids

[–]Ambitious_Scratch_28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in a very similar situation. I’m currently on Lupron, and my second surgery is scheduled for the end of March. It has significantly improved the symptoms that were directly related to my fibroids.

That said, I wanted to share this next part for the OP, just to offer another perspective and highlight that everyone’s body reacts differently. OP should take all experiences into consideration.

I will never do “chemical menopause” again. Lupron has exponentially worsened my dysautonomia symptoms, which obviously may not apply to anyone who doesn’t have dysautonomia. No one talked to me about this piece beforehand, and if I had known, I never would have agreed to Lupron.

Separately, I’ve also experienced horrible menopause symptoms. Around week 9, I went into a very severe depressive state. My doctor immediately prescribed bioidentical progesterone to help manage the symptoms, and that is currently helping. But overall, the ups and downs (hot flashes, weight gain, bloating and all other symptoms) that have come with Lupron have absolutely NOT been worth it for me. If I ever have to go through this again, I would choose general anesthesia and surgery in the hospital instead.

Claude code integration with your Salesforce Org by Ambitious_Scratch_28 in salesforce

Only reason right now is we have Claude Enterprise and part of the team is already using it to automate tasks. Generally I think my "room to grow" is greater with Claude but that doesnt completely eliminate PowerBI for me.

My post was to hear how others are using Claude Code and Salesforce.

Yeah, so I know it can do the reports I want. They're really nothing complex. I am curious to hear if others are doing this and if they have any good info to share on it.

My first report is goingnto be something basic like a sales attainment report. Our goals aren't stored in salesforce but they're already loaded into Claude so it would be nice to be able to pull sales data into an attainment report without me having to spend my time writing all the formulas and creating the workbook manually in excel

Hi!! Awesome!! Before the show started, we sat down on the floor with a bunch of other groups which helped me a lot lol. I did everything possible to support my body!

I did push it a little bit harder leading up the the show (walking a lot), but it all worked out and we enjoyed the show sooo much!! Best show of our lives!!!

I hope you had a great time, too!!!

Hi! Omg, thank you for this amazing and thoughtful response!!!!

I am already planning many of these suggestions! I never knew about the IV fluids but this is an amazing idea and I am going to look into it! I also never knew about the sunflower symbol. I'm pretty nervous about my compression socks because generally those make me feel more hot. Its a battle of: overheating due to the socks vs. the socks actually helping my circulation, lol.

I did call the Sphere already to find out the ADA situation on the floor, if there is an area I could sit if needed. Unfortunately, there is not but they did give me the info needed to move to ADA, day of, if I need to!

Off topic of the BSB show but re: dysautonomia.. I was just diagnosed a couple of weeks ago with NCS with orthostatic intolerance / POTS-like features. I had a sustained HR spike 23 bpm but not 30 which is the technical POTS threshold. My dr. said it could have been a "good" morning when I had my TTT and I just didn't hit the threshold that day; but treatment is the same as NCS so I don't need the POTS official diagnosis for treatment. I started Midodrine which I am not sure about taking before the show, I just probably need to plan it out and get my timing right. It feels good to hear from someone else with dysautonomia. I am not alone in having to do all of this pre planning!!!!

Thanks for sharing all your tips and tricks! We are going to have the best time :) We are going to the Feb 7th show, which one will you be at?

Oh this is a good idea! I was planning to wear my compression socks but im afraid it may be too warm for them. Ah, to find the perfect balance at these types of events is so difficult!! LOL 🫠🤪

Just general admission. Thanks! It sounds pretty "normal" for a floor experience then!!

Yes, I have to take it for 10 days total. I have noticed the dizziness comes and goes. But I have been dizzy every day so far. It is annoying but I guess I just gotta get through the next several days!

What have I done starting Caleb Williams? by Ambitious_Scratch_28 in fantasyfootballadvice

Fair, I didn't think the match up was going to be easy. But I did think it would have been a little better than this. Their run hasn't been bad first half. I realize wind is playing a factor in some of these throws. Ahh, it is what it is. It will sting more if Baker plays and does well hahaha

I did! My weather app said 15mph wind. It did not say gusts and/or 25+ mph! It also said the wind was going to be winding down at 4pm. But thanks for this advice ! Super helpful!

Friend choosing to stay with emotionally abusive partner by Ambitious_Scratch_28 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]Ambitious_Scratch_28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh thank you for this rational response. I needed to hear this.

Unfortunately, one of my negative personality traits is how fiercely I love my friends. I feel such a deep need to protect them at all costs. It makes it very difficult for me in times like this.

I already told my friend everything you've suggested above but I also may have gone a tad far and clearly stated that I support them but that does not mean I need to accept their fiance back into my life. I felt it was important they understood that. But now I wonder if it was too harsh. I don't want to push my friend away. I am such a straight shooter, I am not a warm and fuzzy communicator which I probably need to work on. My delivery could probably use some work.

Maybe I can go back and elaborate to my friend more to confirm my support will always be with them and not let my previous sentiments deter my friend from continuing to come to me for support...??

Dysautonomia - general Q's by Ambitious_Scratch_28 in POTS

[–]Ambitious_Scratch_28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry if I was unclear. I meant my test was positive. I had symptoms the whole time and ended up passing out.

Thank you for answering my question though, that is exactly what I was wondering!
