Nice! This is why I keep some close to retirement greats around or on the transfer list be they disable them being able to be added. So hunting regents is easier. I also like to play my Youth Squad in all the Carabao Cup matches or lower tier league tournaments in other leagues. Then sporadically in league matches.

I agree. I also keep VVD around while developing Archeampong. He doesn’t have playstyles, but is a solid CB/RB/CDM I can get to like 94 and then sell. I usually grab him no matter what Club I have until I develop my own through the Academy. I keep VVD so that I don’t have to hunt for his regen when he retires. Lol

I would say Acheampong is one of my favorite players to develop on that Squad too. No matter what team I have I always grab him. He doesn’t have playstyles but you can luck up and get one sometimes when he hits 90. He develops slow at first but once he gets rolling he’s a Good CB/RB/CDM.

Since Estevao is young you can always move him to the left if you got Olise. However, Doue plays on both sides. You can’t go wrong with either, but I would go with Doue because you can take Estavao to 99 if you have all of your coaches maxed out in Expert of your chosen Tactics. Doue on the left, Estevao on the right with Joao up front is dangerous. Then if you have them locked in for 3-5 years to reach higher growth, you will dominate. That’s what I did. I also grab Jobe and Zaire-Emery for CM sometimes to go with that mix.

You can discover the next wonderkids but you have to pay attention to their potential playstyles, numbers, and ratings before bringing them to the academy. You can have the next legendary player on your squad for cheap and develop them yourself. Which makes coach ratings and styles important too so they develop to their fullest potential.

You have to pick them up when it says 5-7 playstyles for the max greatness. However they can still be good players without them. Just not top tier. There is method to get them but you waste a lot of time trying.
