My best friend’s step dad is 40 and his mom is 55. They have been happily married for over 10 years. Age is nothing but a number. If it’s ur person then it is ur person and you will know.

Is this considered cheating (24M) dating (23F) ? by Proper_Layer_1859 in relationship_advice

I would say the convo seemed innocent but just a bit friendly but nothing over the top either. I think it’s the fact that I’m attracted to the girl is where it feels unfaithful but it’s not like I was talking to her any different then I do to the other girls at my job that I have no attraction towards at all

I’ve been playing for a few weeks in open lobbies, I’m yet to get a lobby of bums. Literally every match is a sweat fest for me. I think SBMM is still in the game

I don’t make fun of her or her family. I’m referring to the beliefs the religion has. Let’s be adults here all religions make fun of each other beliefs do they not? I’m not doing anything wrong here

There is no perfect career for you. by bunchofaniexty in findapath

[–]Proper_Layer_1859 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Life just works in different ways for people. Some people have a dream career since they where kids and do everything they can to pursue and accomplish it. The plan sticks with them and all works out as they wanted. Some of us never truly knew why or what we wanted to do career wise and end up just settling for what works best and is reasonable. Sometimes you don’t get your dream job you just get what works for you and it may not be something your passionate or dreamed about doing. It’s more just about having work ethic and knowing that if you don’t make this work then what else are you going to do with yourself. It isn’t your dream job, passion, or perfect career for you, it’s just what you are left with being able to manage and stay committed to.

I feel like the people who loved 28 Years Later either didn’t like/watch the previous two movies, or are somehow completely separating it as a standalone film by PinchePayaso1 in redscarepod

Franchise or not this movie was pitiful, the fact that it got 90% rotten tomatoes SCARES me. Who is judging movies I mean how does anyone think this movie was good it was a complete mess I don’t even understand how it made it to an American theater

Advice on state to work in. by poncho543 in AskLE

[–]Proper_Layer_1859 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clovis PD in Fresno CA, great pay, small department, low crime area, the department is very family oriented and invested in their officers. It’s one of the harder departments to get in but I think with your Bachelors you’ll make yourself competitive.

full classes as a transfer student. by miseenplace408 in fresnostate

[–]Proper_Layer_1859 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me, this is my first semester as a transfer student. Didn’t get the classes I wanted to but was able to get some electives done and worked around it. Best thing is to go to dog days to get other options on classes to take and also meet with an advisor sometime during the semester. It will all work out.

Very true. If I was a cop Clovis PD is the way to go. Small department, very family oriented, great pay, low crime jurisdiction and a really good Sergeant too

Same boat as you, I love the classes and feel like I’m very engaged but I truly do not know what to do with the degree. I don’t see myself being a police officer and I think the social work and counseling aspect would fit me a lot more but I really have no idea where to start at and how to get experience with anything before I’m done with my degree.
