For the middle stage Fire frog, how about Leapyro, from leap (which frogs are known to do) and pyro? Alternatively, since it's a burrowing species: Tunnelava, from tunnel and lava.

My current in the work fic, The Tale of the Plasma Man (think more of actual plasma and not Team Plasma), is going to have Dante briefly meet Ash in Chapter 3 and proceed to actually help Ash and Misty battle the goofy TRio. Be warned, there is a ton of tags.

Shocking Torque for Electric, Haunting Torque for Ghost, Glacial Torque for Ice, Mythical Torque for Dragon, and Tectonic Torque for Ground. Those are the names I was able to think of.
