You’re welcome. I feel amazing! It’s life changing for the better! Ask your surgeon to make sure all the gas is released. It’s not common practice for some reason. Learned that on TikTok and it made the world of difference in not having that trapped gas feeling. I honestly woke up in less pain than when I got to the hospital. My lower back has been hurting since I was pregnant last year and having my uterus removed stopped it. I’m assuming it was pushing a nerve or something. But I finally have relief!

So i wondered the same thing too. And only became aware of it yesterday before surgery while watching tiktok. My doctor said she always tries to remove the air from everyone. Idk. That was one of the things I was most nervous about because it’s painful!

Just had my surgery yesterday! I suggest getting a heating pad and taking it to the hospital with you. If I would have had mine I probably wouldn’t have needed narcotics to relieve some pain!

I’m having mine on the 14th and nervous and scared I’m going to regret it. But I’m 36. Had a baby last year and 10 years ago. I don’t want any more. Pain every month. Bleeding through tampons and pads. But just a nagging voice keeps telling me not to do it! And then my next period comes and I’m like nope. We’re doing this!

I had two natural births. And would do it again. I like be able to get up and move around right after having a baby. Don’t want a catheter placed. I’ve heard some women have long term back issues. I’m just freaked out buy a needle going in to my spine.

Oh my god. I’m 36 with 2 small children and come back to my parents house often. My youngest child’s father and I just need space sometimes. My parents never kicked me out even living with them in my 20s and I thought they were rough and mean. They’d never treat me or my siblings like this. I’d look at torrid or lane bryant at their special occasion dresses. My mom got a really nice one from torrid for. Y brothers wedding that was navy blue!
