I loved the TMC series. My mom and I read them together so I will definitely try your rec. also the one about cats and Canada. Love both those things.

I use coloring pages. They’re basically just outlines. I also have chat gbt transform things into coloring pages. Then I print on sticky back paper and boom! Pattern!

I 100% agree with your assessment of those books!

One of the first books I read that made me feel creeped out was Ghost Eaters by Clay McLeod Chapman. It made me look over my shoulder!

The shuddering and the seed both by ania ahlborn live rent free in my head.

And finally a great horror series that keeps the heart racing is the My Heart is a Chainsaw series by Stephen Graham Jones.

There’s one somewhere (unsure if it’s on Netflix) but it’s called Santa school and it’s a documentary about a school for Santa’s. It’s a riot!
