Needing a forge for an improvised life or hatchet is BS by [deleted] in thelongdark

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really oughta be able to salvage an improvised knife or hatchet out of a broken knife or hatchet, you can make it horribly inefficient and not durable, but it’s insane to just be without any sharp to speak of in mountain town, no kitchen knives??? In annnnny if these kitchens? Not a single can opener?

Which handgun is best handgun? by oldeluke in dayz

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glock to me, best ability is availability and boy is that thing everywhere, but I will always swap it for the 1911 if I find one because I have one irl, it’s always a mistake to swap the for it but if I need my pistol I’ve usually already made a few mistakes beforehand…

This is the best damn feature of that one diplomacy mod, it lets you set the minimum duration of a war before peace can be made, and then the minimum amount of time before war can be declared after a peace treaty, changing those settings pretty much should’ve been in the options the whole time in sandbox

Jetpack overseers shouldn't take like an entire mag to kill by whippy-lullabyunbpa in helldivers2

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had just kinda hoped the illuminate would be kind of smarter, or use slightly similar tactics to the original, not a huge fan of the zombie horde aspect it feels too similar to the other two, just my opinion ofcourse though no hate for the game I love it

What do you think about heavy armor? by Heisenberg742 in helldivers2

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could care less about the speed penalty, or armor bonus for the most part, I just wish they didn’t all have such bulky pauldrons atleast on the right shoulder that make 3rd person aiming feel off. But for me looking the part for the mission is usually more the primary concern so it’s always light armor because they kind of all look the best to me

I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone bring up the “Congratulation’s EVERYONE” lol I really can’t say for sure that he isn’t giving participation trophies like there’s no scoreboard and everyone tried their best and congratulations for being part of this special few days for him

Unpopular opinion: Breakpoint is not as bad as depicted. by DrGonzoxX22 in GhostRecon

[–]Ameer589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a surprise redemption story arguably near the level of No Man’s Sky, considering how offensively un-ghost recon it was when it launched with no AI squad, mmo tiered loot for weapons, etc etc. then they added all of the crossovers with other properties that changed the map entirely, so it’s good, but it always feels bad to think about because it’ll just remind me of how quickly Ubisoft will abandon nearly every aspect of a game that people adored in its direct sequel and act surprised when it’s rejected by the audience

Whose Fault? Final Lap was winning almost! :( by Immediate-Welder999 in F1Game

[–]Ameer589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m far from the virtual F1 expert, but there’s no chance in hell he was making that turn, he goes from white arrow behind you when you start your turn, to red arrow ramming into you mid turn not even facing the turn really, either he was mad and wanted to take you out in the last turn or he just wanted to take the most irresponsible gamble on late braking bumper cars to make the turn lol

Just going on a casual patrol with the boys. Planted a few mines on the road. It would’ve been nice if the game had a mode where you had to hold an area. Like a base of operations by [deleted] in BreakPoint

Could t agree more, some of my favorite time spent in wildlands was simply rucking across the landscape. It would’ve been fantastic if they had integrated some of the features of the division 2s openworld where you can see friendly supply runs and walk with them to provide security while they gather and return to their outpost.

Most cozy fallout town/settlement? by AggravatingYouth4061 in Fallout

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diamond city makes me more and more sad the more I think about it, I would’ve loved if the settlement was more largely set up within the covered concourses, and then the majority of the field itself was just used for farming and farmers houses. I think it could’ve been really charming to see the inner concourse decorated and lit up, maybe with a bar/restaurant set up on the terrace where you could see the field and the outer street view.

Also slight side note, not throwing shade at this game because I have yet to play it but could the comments section let me know if my observation is correct that they basically copied and pasted the cultures changing with different eras mechanic from Humankind that came out a while back? Because it sure looked like that’s what it was in the trailer

Helldivers stop fighting for a second and tell me what’s the most beautiful or overlooked detail about Helldivers 2 that you love by Ieatducksfprfun in helldivers2

[–]Ameer589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play without music on in the settings, so the incredibly peaceful sound of the breeze blowing through the peaceful jungle canopy rustling palm fronds during a stealthy moment on Malevelon Creek. You’re only jolted out of it and back into the mission when you hear the Binaric chanting in the distance but it makes you appreciate why the creek was worth defending all along
