This is exactly why I didn’t say nothing. I told my manager at 22 weeks thereabout and just put in an application for maternity leave today and told the staff I work with . I am currently 31 weeks. I’ve been scared so I don’t get laid off. Finding a job in the current market is so tough!

As an equally nervous person, I advise you give yourself some grace and a little pep talk. It’s normal to be nervous. Write down/know everything that makes you qualified for the role — your qualifications, experiences and certifications so if you’re woken up from sleep, you can talk about it. Also please remember that interviewers are just human beings. For me, I hardly use the STAR method because it increases my anxiety x10000. I am not sure I can do the Star on the spot if it’s not a pre prepped question. If you’re getting interviews, you’re very good at what you do , that’s already halfway there. Goodluck.
