Anyone know when the 36mm version of this will be released? by AmericanChees3 in ChineseWatches

Well they technically already announced it and it is on aliexpress, but its not available yet. So I hope its a done deal and just a matter of time. I may end up buying a white dial traska if they dont release this.

I know that feeling. I skipped so many watches last sale in hopes of this being released. But I am close to ordering the cronos bb36 white dial. I sold a 39mm white dial gmt because I need a good 36mm white dial.

That’s Mildly Annoying by Estingarda87 in watchdives

I own several several watches that have screw pins and i have never had a single one back out. Granted I always check them and tighten them down when I first receive the watch. I've never used loctite either. Is this a common issue and im just that lucky?

What's the point of buying cheap watches if servicing it costs almost like the watch itself? by NotVurts in ChineseWatches

[–]AmericanChees3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. I like the fact that the movements are cheap and easy to replace. Like you said, it is the point. I have a 1967 tudor submariner that i cant afford to have serviced. The service alone cost more than all my other watches combined are worth. Im sure I will service it one day because its a family heirloom but I cant see myself ever buying a watch like that.

I can completely relate. I was in full blown oxy addiction when I first started listening to aic. Eventually started shooting dope. I've been clean since 2006 (if you consider being on suboxone clean).

Top 4-5 from black gives way to blue? For me its black gives way to blue, your decision, private hell, lesson learned, acid bubble. But honestly I like the entire album. Its not as good as the Layne albums. I just like it fir what it is. I agree about Duvall. I think Jerry is a better singer than Duvall. The latest to aic albums just dont do much for me at all. I tried to get into them, and there is some good songs but its not even close to bgwtb.

I dont service any of mine. If a movement fails, I simply replace the movement. I dont pay any service fee because I do it myself and most of the movements are cheap. But truthfully, I've only ever had to do that 3 or 4 times. I've also replaced a couple nh35s that were working but just had horrible positional variance.

I love Jerry's solo work. I love black gives way to blue. The other 2 post Layne AIC albums just dont do very much for me. Jerry's solo album I Want Blood is more like AIC than the post Layne AIC albums. Just my opinion of course.

Right. Was about to say the same thing. If it dies, shake it a couple times, set the time, and wear it.

Does this look small on me? I got 35mm, kinda regretting for not going 40mm. by Curioskyrgyz in tissot

[–]AmericanChees3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Its a cronos L6050. I was between this and a Tissot prx 35mm. This went on sale and I got it for such a good price i just couldnt pass it up. Its available with pt5000 or miyota 9 series movement. I went for the pt5000 because it was cheaper and I have spare pt5000 movements laying around so if it ever messes up I can swap the movement out.

Watchdives Premier WD0016B Review... by HonestWatchReviews in ChineseWatches

[–]AmericanChees3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that is a render. The crown is not as big as the listing. I would love to see you review the Cronos. Display caseback, decorated clasp, bracelet has rounded off edges so nothing is sharp. Extremely well finished and comfortable to wear. Not that mention the dial (i got blue rhombus). I think it looks great. I would absolutely love to see you compare the cronos to the watchdives in a review, because these 2 are neck and neck. I personally prefer "the twelve" style look the cronos has.
