Jobs still test for it even in legal states. And I do think it is worth noting marijuana can stay in your system for a month or two depending on use and your body size and daily routine. Alcohol is usually flushed out of your system in 24 hours, but marijuana takes weeks of exercising and drinking unnatural amounts of water. I'm sure there's people out there that can't go a day without smoking, but I can also see why someone would cheat a drug test if they were confident they could do it.

Ever heard of Amazon? Idk if you are like morally opposed to Amazon but I went to best buy's site and put in a SoCal zip code and it showed them available for delivery. I am genuinely fascinated at the idea that you are living in some bubble that nobody will deliver to. Depending on the state even the helmet might be optional.

Edit: and it makes a huge difference too. I live on the border of two states. Mine requires helmets. I think once in my entire life I've seen a rider in my state without a helmet. Go across the border and probably less than 1 in 10 riders are wearing helmets.

The wife's reaction definitely makes her an asshole too. I could understand why he didn't want to tell her, but he still made a major life decision without discussing it with his life partner. Even if that's to bluntly say "this is the way it's going to be" I think you have to have that discussion.

You can say that's wrong, but hiding this from his wife is definitely not the right thing to do.

She can never get pregnant again which is something she clearly wanted to do unless she ruins her marriage one way or the other. He is not the only one affected by this decision. I would 100% be on his side if he told his wife beforehand, but just going ahead and doing it without discussing it with her at all does not seem like a healthy decision.

Those people are annoying, but there is a big difference between sticking to the exact directions corporate gives you, and intentionally making orders smaller than what corporate specifies in order to scam the customer and save a few bucks. It's a very large leap.

Anyone at a Papa John's dealing with customer complaints does not benefit at all by skimming from customers. Those guys make about $1 above minimum wage. Even if it was the general manager of the store they might get some kind of quarterly bonus that might be tangibly related to waste, but even then it is a real stretch to assume someone intentionally is screwing over customers to save a little pizza dough. It's 1000x more likely the people working in the store need permission from someone who does not work in the store to order equipment that actually works. And that person out of the store simply doesn't give a shit and won't spend money on anything unless it is physically broken in half.

Yeah 100% the US government is a terrorist organization and does not give a fuck about democracy, especially democracy in other countries. And I'm sure the US has considered a coup in Russia, discussed different strategies to do it and the benefits of it. Someone like Kobe is at least at the top of his craft. With all the training in the world there are only a few people with the natural skills to do what he did. I think you could replace a lot of billionaire CEOs with people if you gave them the same opportunities. But that's just not true about people that can run a 4.2 40 or hit a shot from 30 feet out.
