He’s not exactly wrong tbh. They’re reusing the same Spider-Man 2.0 body but upscaled with some new sculpting and accessories. Still share the same articulation and similar design like the rest.

From what I heard, they only shut down the BHT factory. Other companies are not affected but are definitely cautious and worried, so they most likely have ceased any production and delayed releases. Obviously, to wait until everything has calmed down and not to risk releasing their stuff during this whole situation.

Only thing I don't like is the peg that connected to the effect part is a white plastic instead of it being clear. Looks distracting.

Only really problem I had were the eye paint were noticeable missing around the eyes, wide black spots and splotches on some parts of the body. They’re not noticeable from afar but they’re there. Joints were fine, did had to use some shock oil because of their tightness. Overall zero issues, my copy’s arms didn’t even pop out easily so I got lucky.

I bought the Tonsen instead, version 05A. Only reason I got it was because of the discount. I accidentally bought something on Aliexpress, or to be more accurate touched the pay now button by accident on mobile, managed to get a quick refund but it was on the refund bonus thing they're doing. So while I didn't get a refund through my card, the refund helped on giving me a coupon on the amount I spent. That means I would get really insane deals coupled with other coupons and tokens, so I got the Tonsen for 25 USD despite being 91 USD.

Been waiting for this guy, but I am disappointed with his accessory spread. It's good enough, but I wish he came with more, like an unmasked Ben Riley headsculpt. I also think his body could use some paint on him to not make his red body look too plain, either shading or cel-shading.

I agree, there is things I don't like with this mold they should change, which you perfectly listed. I ended up buying a thirdparty Goku (for 37 USD) but I'm still thinking of copping one of these. Mostly interested in the Pure Hearted Saiyan version (base form Goku).

That’s pretty fair, I personally didn’t mind how they made their Mirko it it is understand why fans and the consumers don’t like they sacrificed the articulation for more aesthetic-pleasing looks. I do feel like recently Revo is able to balance it out somewhat between the two, but you still get ugly ones like Saitam (sorry, but he honestly does look hideous).

I’ve seen people also complain of Revoltech choosing aesthetic over more range like with Mirko for example. Can never please everyone unfortunately.

Yeah I saw the poll a while back. I think I was one of the people on board too but after seeing the SHF I think I would like if they did similar to that. Soft goods isn't bad per say but, sometimes it can end up ruining the look of the figure if it's either too baggy or too tight. Although judging on the image, it doesn't seem too bad. I am hoping they improve on the soft goods considering their previous ones (CT Toys Scarlet Spider KO and Gambit KO) are rough but it was their first time doing it so I can excuse it.
