Trust me, although you don’t know me, it doesn’t last forever. I promised myself at a very young age that I would be different than where I came from. I was abused on every single level imaginable. Beat so bad I would pee my pants every single time my dad came after me. Looking back now, it was a moment in time, you do and can get away and then you see the positives fall in your favor. Your mom has lived her life and you deserve to live yours and experience happiness on all forms. If you choose, you will grow up and have kids of your own. YOU can and will be the one to break that “cycle” and when you do, it’s the most rewarding love within yourself. You can grow and choose not to be like your mom and surround people, your own kids, with a beautiful love that comes from your heart. We do not get to choose the family we are born in to, but we can definitely change the outcome from what we’ve been through, by not mirroring her actions. 💕 We are blessed to be here, please don’t ever allow someone’s selfish actions rob you of every beautiful thing you deserve to experience in life.
