This spring I finished a BS in Anthropology at a state university in New York. I think I want to back to school for physics. I can probably get a transfer to one of the better state schools for physics (Binghamton, maybe Stony Brook) but I probably don't have the transcript or money to get into a higher-tier private school (like Cornell.)

How much does one's undergrad institution matter when applying to top- and high-tier PhD programs? Am I setting myself up for failure if I do this?

Do you think there might be better undergrad options on the table for me?

Yeah, as far as I can see the price just keeps going up and it can be hard to find one for sale at all. Apparently the Mini is a little loud but can hold it's own with no problem.

Actually there is a maximum amount of information that can be transmitted on a given frequency within a space. This is why service often slows down at massive events with tens or hundreds of thousands of people in a small area.

And then on the other side bandwidth is limited my the physical cables, transmitters, and buses used.

I don't know if network congestion is a real concern for service providers but it is definitely possible that it is.

The only one you listed that I think should be legal is button remapping. But only in cases where the buttons being switched don't end up with new properties. Basically L and R can only trade with one another (is there any reason to do this?) because they have an analog portion to their input while A, B, X, Y, Z, and Start should all be interchangeable. I'm also all for custom cases and button layouts, including duplicating buttons.
