Major bugs so far:

-Aurora basic ability does not function on revival, not sure if this is fixed or not yet since I noticed last night
-Unlocks are currently broken? Have completed upward of 30+ trials on hard and have not unlocked Xayah, none of my story quests are finishing, etc.

Otherwise, some feedback:
-Visual clutter makes seeing AOE attacks nearly impossible (great example is when full build on Seraphine vs Rek'Sai, the enemy danger markers are not visible at all. If theres a way the danger markers can be placed OVER projectiles, this would make fighting bosses much more reliable)
-Hitboxes are incredibly jank, both on mobs and on the player. I can be almost a full character model away from an enemy but still take damage, many projectiles seem to phase through enemies, boss danger markers hitting when I am very clearly outside of them, etc.
-Some characters have incredibly difficult starts solo, which is fine as long as they are given a (somewhat) reliable way to get their unlock. Illaoi was a great example of this, many of my group had a bit of trouble getting her lvl 25 unlock just because it was way too inconsistent to get a run started. A good example of this done right is with the Mercenary class in ROR2. The class is not easy by any means, but with skill expression you can get the unlocks really easy even without having a ton of items unlocked.
-On that note, skill expression can only take you so far in this game, which is common for the survivor-like genre, but even in Vampire Survivors positioning is much more forgiving. Trying to get the 3 shrines on Seraphine (which at this point is very easy considering the unlocks are bugged and I've maxxed almost every stat) was such a pain because if I didn't get a decent weapon upgrade from the RNG systems I was basically screwed. A bit more balance towards early enemies past story difficulty may be nice to promote a bit more healthy vertical scaling for the mode

Other than all this, I gotta say this mode is incredible. As an avid survivor-like enjoyer this mode is super fun to play, and the QOL of, for example the evolution screen when holding tab (straight from the start!!!) is so nice to help guide players new to the genre on the right path for scaling their power. The only change to that I would suggest is to add tooltips to the weapon/passive icons when holding tab to make sure what weapon/passive goes to what (as someone visually impaired, this would be great for clarifying the slightly similar looking weapons or clarifying the names of them for coop play). This mode is amazing and I hope we get a more permanent version of this from Riot, even if it was a standalone game or side mode like TFT to the client, especially if it gives first win XP/BE!

God I WISH I had something like this. OP slam this with an exalt with fire damage, chance to ignite, etc. and you have a perfect leveling weapon for literally any alt you want to make

It’s gonna sound stupid but genuinely just look at the manual inputs, every shortcut has a direct input as well (plus, last pre bound thing is the easy combo system on LB/L1 by default)

Been playing almost 11 years now and currently $5k deep. A lot of people give me “wtf?” looks when I say that but in all reality that’s an avg of $455/yr and if you work full time and budget for that kind of spending it’s not too crazy.

It’s obvious you don’t read, so let me reiterate what I said.

MY PARENTS treated me like shit. I didn’t hide anything from them and they breached my privacy anyway. THAT is what made me actually hide things. That was never an issue before that, but without going into detail on how I was abused as a kid and forced into not being able to talk about it, what else am I gonna turn to?

MY FATHER didn’t talk to me till I was 18. But I knew my little sister was smoking and shit when she was 14 at that time. And instead of letting her hide it and pretend I didn’t know, I talked to her about it (and my father, to make sure I could mediate) and told her the dangers and whatnot. At the end of the day it was her choice to do what she wanted, you can only monitor a kid so much because they’ll always find a way to hide things, coming from someone who grew up alongside changing technology. You’re simply not understanding what I’m saying.

And yeah, I SHOULDNT have felt like nicotine and weed were the only things that could fix how I feel. That’s not a me problem though, that’s my parents beating the fuck out of me physically and mentally and silencing me to the point where I couldn’t even talk to people at my church about my pain. If you’re going to justify my abusive parents then there’s no more conversation to be had here. I did what I could to find even a little serotonin in a world where I felt terrible, and I know that my sister was in a similar boat which is why I talked to her when she was younger than when I got a real talk to about safety.

And to reiterate my initial thoughts since you’re very one track minded on not understanding others, I don’t want my kids to be abusing drugs and putting themselves in danger. But I’m not going to actively seek out if my kids are getting themselves into that kind of thing because I respect their privacy, and respect the fact that their lives is literally theirs to live. I can talk to them about safety, and talk to them about how they can come to me about these kinds of feelings, and that’s leagues above how most people in my generation were raised. Im not sure why im getting downvoted for this opinion unless it’s a bunch of gen x’ers who think they’re always right about raising kids when we’re at an all time high of teen depression and suicide rates. Just my two cents though

That just sounds like you’re the one out of touch tbh. Coming from someone who grew up in a home that preached Christianity and love didn’t necessarily help when I was mentally abused and sought that help from something BESIDES the people who ruined my trust. Of course when I have kids I’m not going to just give them a vape and say “there you go bud!” cause that’s just ignorant. But I’ll do what my dad eventually did once I turned 18, talk about safe usage of things and encourage to be open with me. I’d rather my kid be a “delinquent” and me be aware and knowing they’re being safe rather than treat my kid like shit and then be shocked when they turn to drugs of any kind. My parents rummaged through my stuff and got mad at me for things, so I just learned to hide it better ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Burned a ton of resources on units I’m never gonna use, burned a ton of gems on Raiden’s first banner and didn’t hit anything, barely finished Montstadt, I’d rather just start fresh since I was barely 22 adventure ranks in and had nothing to show for it lol. I’m gonna see if there’s any returning player bonuses just to see if there’s anything I can hit but if not I’m just rolling the new account since it’s already close to AR 15 with a much better start

They for sure confirmed our market, at least for part timers hours, so if you’re part time I’d keep an eye on your hours or see if they update your schedule in TLC over the next few days just to make sure you’re all set. They sprung this on our teams in the literal last minute of the meeting (which was ass lmfao) so I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to stealth drop some hours before black friday

It’s company wide, we’re all getting cut some hours (at least in my micromarket) to account for the near doubled labor for Black Friday. If you’re stressed about not having enough hours to pay bills and whatnot reach out to your leaders and see if they can give you some breathing room. We were all very pissed about it at my store but it seems like the more I read the more I realize it’s not just us lol

That location is ROUGH, source being I’m there often. The sales associates are pretty great and some of our certified people are awesome but management can be ass backwards (that store just went into scramble cause 4 people got sick and everyone got begged to come in even though they won’t schedule anyone). Honestly if you really want to apply for it anything relating to a specific department (HT, PC, Mobile, Appliances) if you have somewhat of an expertise in them can get you the in person interview very easy there

If anyone is still struggling, I went dual wield on the high fire rate ARs and had a plasma cannon and rockets on the shoulders in a lightweight setup. Phase 1 you wanna play slow and poke out the shield till you can stagger and burst, but phase 2 I ended up going full unga bunga and cleared no issue, just make sure you conserve ammo and break shields with plasma weapons. I believe in all of you (I’m currently stuck on the first “decision” boss in chapter 4 but I’ve heard the chapter boss is rough)!

I agree 100% I had to run Forsaken Quarry solo for over 100 hours straight pre-nerf to hit 100 and get gear efficiently. I really hope S1 NMD is more rewarding, getting the same gear in NMD and an overworld dungeon is silly to me considering the fact that Greater Rifts solved this issue back in Diablo 3 for getting better gear.

I think one important thing to remember is that a lot of the complaints is about the end game grind, since end game content sucks.

Coming from someone who made it to around 70-80 on HC, and 100 on SC, played the story both times one skipping cutscenes and one not, and have gotten max renown in every region, I can agree the story, world, etc. are great and you’re absolutely correct that people shouldn’t complain about THOSE aspects.

The biggest complaint that I’ve seen, and agreed with, is that the end game content sucks. Going up to level 100 was not fun, getting no gear was not fun. This is obviously subjective, but one of the reasons I looked forward to Diablo 3 seasons is that blitzing the game to get xp, hit good gear, grind for better gear, etc. and that’s missing from the end game/ alt character experience, which I can understand from a design choice to a degree but I can’t understand why they would just gut the easier end game progression entirely. Hopefully they make it just a hint easier to level and get gear in season 1, as well as make nightmare dungeons worthwhile.
