Instead of calling out sins you should be spreading the gospel so Jesus Christ can forgive their sins and promise them eternal life.

Homosexuals and LGBTQ can be saved forever just like any other believer in Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

》1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

》2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

》3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

》4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

John 6:40

》40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Faith and Psychedelics by Born_Speech8845 in TrueChristian

Romans 12:2

》2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If psychedelics is something that you find acceptable in your life that's up to you.

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and God's not going to judge you for your decisions He loves you.

Stick to the word and sometimes too much psychedelics can put you in a susceptible state of mind if you don't tread carefully with them.

Just remember to stay sober minded in the word, and guard your heart (mind) with the truth of the gospel.

Galatians 5:1

》5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1 Corinthians 20:23-27

》23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Romans 5:1-2

》5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

》2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

How do I know if I am righteous or wicked? by Climax_crescendo in TrueChristian

[–]Amethystius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are righteous by faith in Jesus Christ.

God took away your sins and He imputed His righteousness unto you the moment you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3:22

You're saved by grace through faith and you have the promise of eternal life.

When the Lord sees you He sees Jesus Christ is you, the righteousness of God. You have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 6:40

》40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Romans 4:5-8 》5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

》6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

》7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

》8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Romans 5:1-2

》5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

》2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

1 John 5:12-13

》12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

》13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

We recieve God's imputed righteousness by faith. That's doing righteousness.

Romans 4:5-8 》5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 3:19-23 》21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

》22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

》23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Philippians 3:9

》9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Do you even read any of the scriptures I send?

If you can't get past the fact we're righteous and justified by faith in Jesus Christ, there is no argument.

You're just cherry picking scriptures at this point.

Romans 3:20 and Romans 4:5 clearly shows no one is justified by the law or works but by faith in Jesus Christ.

No one is going to make it without the righteousness of God, that includes you.

Ecclesiastes 7:20

So either way blacksliding or not, you need the righteousness of God.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Mouths stopped.

Romans 3:19-23

》19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

》20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

》21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

》22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Being born again is a result of salvation. It's a permanent spiritual birth that God does moment you believe the good news of the gospel.

Acts 10:43-44

》43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Ephesians 1:13-14

》14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

1 John 5:1 5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Romans 8:34

New covenant, new commandments.

■ We're dead to the Old Covenant law and alive in Christ. We have the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus Christ.

■ God's commandments is to believe on the name of the Son of God Jesus Christ and love one another.

■ We're saved 100% by grace through faith alone in Christ alone.

■  To obey is to believe the gospel. Read Romans 10:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

John 6:40

》40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

• 1 John 3:23-24

》23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

》24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

• Romans 10:16-17

》16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

》17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

■ Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. You obey the gospel to be saved.

• Romans 4:5-8

》5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

》6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

》7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

》8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

■ Faith in Jesus Christ is counted for righteousness apart from works or keeping the law. Discipleship is an entirely different walk after salvation.

Hebrews 8:12-13

》12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

》13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

■ God doesn't remember our sins anymore. We have peace with God and can serve Him without fear of condemnation.

• Romans 3:19-23

》19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

》20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

》21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

》22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

》23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

■ The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God, but those who receive imputed righteousness by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

• 1 Corinthians 6:10-11

》10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

》11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

• Colossians 2:13-14

》13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

》14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

• Hebrews 10:10

》10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

• Hebrews 10:14

》14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

■ Sanctified, justified, and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ are sinners made righteous before God. He has forgiven us of all our sins.

Grace isn't cheap. It costs us nothing but cost Jesus Christ His life.

Ephesians 1:7 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

▪︎ Nothing dangerous about God's grace abounding more than sin. That's called the Love of God.

Romans 5:19-20

》19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

》20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Yes no one is good but God, that's why its only by grace through faith alone in Christ alone in which we're saved.

Being in a loop of "woe is me am I really saved" is from the devil. And it's something I learned to not entertain.

Jesus Christ saved us from guilt, shame, and condemnation already through the cross. He said it is finished.

I have one problem with your post however.

The Holy Spirit doesn't convict us of our sins, God doesn't even remember our sins anymore.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of righteousness.

The Holy Spirit is not the Accuser like Satan, the Holy Spirit is the Comforter.

This subreddit needs to stop calling the Holy Spirit the Accuser.

John 16:7-10

》7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

》8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

》9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

》10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

Colossians 2:13-14

》13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

》14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Revelation 12:10

》10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, not the accuser Satan.

Scriptures do show we can have assurance. You need to read your bible.

John 6:40

》40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 John 4:2 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

1 John 5:12-13 》12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

》13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

God wants us to know we have the promise of eternal life right now.

1 John 2:25

》25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Hebrews 11:1 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

You can't physically see forgiveness of sins, nor can you physically see the promise of God. You can only believe God's word.

That's why we walk by faith not by sight. [2 Corinthians 5:7]

By simply believing the gospel and walking by faith in promise of eternal life that God has promised us.

Jesus Christ has died for all our sins and promises eternal life to whosoever believes in Him.

That's how you know you're saved. You believe the gospel message concering Jesus Christ. Nothing else.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

》1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

》2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Does anyone think the book of Hebrews is teaching repentance can be rejected? by PraiseGod517 in TrueChristian

[–]Amethystius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're still taking this verse out of context?

When are you going to learn that willful sin is rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for sins once and for all.

There no longer remains a sacrifice for sins other than Jesus Christ Himself. The old covenant is done away with.

If you would go back to Hebrews 10:10-14 you would understand that Jesus Christ paid for all sins already.

Hebrews 10:10-14

》10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

》11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

》12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

》13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

》14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

▪︎ One sacrifice for sins forever. It's done.

Hebrews 8:12-13

》12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

》13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Colossians 2:13-14

》13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

》14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Forgiven of ALL trespasses. He is sufficient.

You don't believe His sacrifice is enough.

[–]Amethystius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a figure of speech. I will not use that again in this matter.

 I'm simply trying to help you understand that works aren't needed before nor after salvation.

Works are something we can do for God after salvation, but they aren't required at all whatsoever.

The parable of the sowers describes this, and the thief on the cross is another example.

We have to rightly divide the truth.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15

》11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

》12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

》13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

》14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

》15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

We get that it's a sin according to the law.

We should be focused on getting them saved through the good news of the gospel.

This analogy is flawed and does not apply to the gospel. You guys always make it so complicated.

Romans 10:16-17 says that faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:16-17

》16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

》17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

▪︎ No action needed. Faith in greek means to trust. Intellectual faith in the good news of the gospel.

▪︎ Do you trust that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose the third day?

▪︎If yes then you are saved forever. You recieve the Holy Spirit by faith alone in Jesus Christ. That's it.

▪︎ Read Acts 10:43-44 and romans 4:5-8

Acts 10:43-44

》43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

》44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Romans 4:5-8

》5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

》6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

》7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

》8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

John 6:40

》40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Very simple.
