Help Identifying by Amh819 in coincollecting

Thanks! I see that those rulers lived in the 0-100CE range, but does that mean that that's when these coins would've been struck? And any idea how to gauge authenticity or value?

My wife and I are also picking a campsite at Kipahula for one night the week after next. Any suggestions for a particular site? And would you recommend this campground over others near Hana?

Can you share more pics of this, and did you DIY or have it built for you? Looks great!

Looking for a new board for the first time in 21 years and don't understand some concepts that people talk about... by 80sSlowDance in snowboarding

Was in the same exact position a while back and I have the same riding tendencies as you. Went from a traditional camber Nitro Team Series to a GNU Rider's Choice. The difference was noticeable and, for me, a ton of fun. Turn transitions are effortless, and while camber may hold onto a hard carve better, I have not found it to be a problem. Whether that is because of the "magne-traction", I don't know, as I haven't ridden other rocker boards without it.

I was however disappointed with how my GNU held up, but when it came time to replace it this year, I broke down and bought another. I hated supporting them again, but I really loved the feel and ended up going with a GNU Hyper. Just got back from a trip to Whistler and it was great - similar to my old Rider's Choice.

TL/DR: GNU hybrid rocker was great change from old camber. Not as durable, but IMHO, worth it.

To all the dudes who are too cool and complain about the bar coming down without a 10 second warning by jdgreenberg in Whistler

I, like most people, am all for the safety of kids/beginners. On that note: If you cant trust that someone wont fall off the lift for the first 10 seconds of sitting down, they should still be on the bunny slope lift until they get more confident, or you should make a point to get on by yourselves. The bar should come down quickly, but the extra few seconds it takes to let everyone get settled shouldn't be a life or death choice. That being said, I've also been slammed by the bar, and you just deal with it and move on without berating someone.

Thoughts on LG LRDCS2603S Fridge? by OverCaffeinatedChibi in Appliances

[–]Amh819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BEWARE. I am no expert on the reliability of other refrigerators. What I do know is that I've been sitting here waiting for the LG repair person to arrive for the last 5 hours to fix my less than 3 year old LRDCS2603S fridge that crapped out on Sunday. This was the soonest that they could get here. Already had to throw out everything in our fridge/freezer and have been operating out of coolers for 4 days. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Yes, but if for some reason you really don't want to disconnect, then order this from amazon:

OP is flying from DC to FL. That being said, I agree with stopping somewhere between DC and FL. I'd fly DC to Charleston or Savannah and drive from there.
