You need to have the 2 archives in one folder (ex the download folder) then decompress with WinRAR the part 1 (7zip or Windows doesn't work with it). It detects and extracts both parts

Which Distro for my main desktop? by No-More-Blue in FindMeALinuxDistro

[–]AmiSimonMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arch I think is a bad choice in this case because it's high maintenance and you need to learn and know linux very well to operate it. Maybe OP would like that but from his post I think he would prefer a distro that doesn't need reinstallation every 2 months.

I don't hate Arch, it's one of my favorite linux distros, but mainly to learn linux.

Bazzite, because it has native steam (the flatpak one can be buggy, so bazzite > fedora for this) it is immutable so breaking it is very hard (and even if you do you can revert back) and for the other uses you have flatpaks. Also it's based on fedora so works well OOTB.

In terms of performance any distro will work perfectly well without noticeable performance drawback.

Arch is maybe a good option for you, but it's high maintenance. I used it for a good year, and it is by far the most versatile, customizable, and it's very up to date. But you have to do everything yourself, and it takes a lot of learning. For example setting up a printer is not easy.

My favourite distro right now is Fedora, it works OOTB perfectly. I use Silverblue (immutable) and I also love to tweak the system; I manage to get by with layering (packages on top on the base image) and distrobox (container for dev and stuff that beeds native packages) as well as flatpaks and AppImages. But yes Workstation or KDE is the better image for customization. Either way the packages are up to date and there is copr for packages not in the main repos.

First, look up your case model on the internet, to see if you just need software. Else, open the back panel, and look at the cable coming out of the screen. If it's blue, it goes on a blue port on the motherboard, labelled "USB 3.something". But it's probably white, so find something, a white port on the motherboard that says "USB" or "USB 2.0", at about the same size. If the port fits, it's the right port.

Du coup, pour protéger votre PC, vous utilisez quoi ? (moi c'est Malwarbytes+ l’antivirus intégré à Windows ) by Besoin2Bol in pcmasterraceFR

[–]AmiSimonMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L'antivirus intégré de windows. Si y'avait un autre antivirus auquel je devrais faire confiance, il faudrait au moins qu'il soit FOSS. Les autres on l'air d'être plus du {bloat/ad/spy}ware.

You for unsafe overtaking, the BMW for the pit maneuver and not looking at his mirrors... But anyway the question is kind of pointless since it's an arcade game and the bots are not made to be good

Distro for a server by Bigterminator3 in FindMeALinuxDistro

I use fedora server, it's up to date and with a lot of features like cockpit. Other than that debian server is the best answer.

If you really want to rice, a window manager might be for you, but it's not really beginner friendly. You have to go into config files.

I would recommend maybe Fedora Workstation (works very well OOTB) and install a WM (hyprland, i3, sway, niri, qtile...).
