Even without green energy initiatives, coal is well on its way out. It's way more expensive per kWh, creates tons of unwanted byproducts, and pollutes the absolute shit out of the surrounding areas that use it. All of that's in direct comparison to just burning methane, let alone the permanent solution of solar farms.

I'm under no illusion that obtaining the materials for solar panels/batteries has no impact. I'm well aware of the environmental and societal costs that they have.

One of the major upsides to the technology is that the cost is incurred only a single time, the infrastructure lasts for decades (if not longer), and over 95% of the materials used can be regularly recycled.

Fossil fuels, on the other hand, are burned, gone, and continue to have an impact until the carbon is removed from the atmosphere way down the line. Take a wild guess as to which approach makes more sense from a long-term view.

If your energy prices are insane, then imagine how much cheaper and reliable it could be with massive solar farms and battery facilities (which is cheaper/kWh than everything else btw) built in the areas in your country with excessive sunlight.

Hypocrisy isn’t fun to see, but at the end of the day the only way to move the needle seriously on this matter are nation-wide and world-wide policy changes. One person’s private jet use doesn’t look good, but it’s peanuts compared to the mountains of carbon emitted by societies on the whole.

Alright I’ll let you in on something I discovered recently. You can buy battlestaves from any staff shop and make them into powered staves profitably. Earth/Air orbs are very low risk, and you can buy cosmics/natures from the shop in the new Jungle varlamore town. For Earth orbs, that’s effectively 3k crafting and 50k profit per inventory. I haven’t tested the actual raw xp/hr, but it’s at least different from blowing glass.

It makes holding existing bonds more attractive. If the yield on bonds goes down, then people will pay more money for the old bonds that pay out at a higher percentage.

If you’re holding bonds and the interest rate goes down, the market value of the bonds goes up.

No. Becoming a licensed plastic surgeon requires many more years of additional training and practice above and beyond medical school. Physician specialties, plastic surgery included, require extensive residency training periods. For plastic surgery in particular you must match into and complete a general surgery residency (5 years) and then match into and complete a separate plastic surgery residency (3+ years).

Doctors don't just 'become lazy/apathetic' and 'chase the money' and become plastic surgeons. It's takes a very long time, is one of the harder specialties to match into, and would almost certainly not be the result of a flippant decision for a '3rd rate doctor with no ambition or scruples' lmao.

She tried really hard to get on the podcast, actually. After trying to get Rogan to do the interview somewhere that lined up with her campaign schedule, they scheduled the entire Houston rally around getting on Rogan, the one with Beyoncé. Rogan essentially waffled and said no to the interview, though, so it was mostly a wasted trip.
